Volunteer to help with the annual Pride Festival! We need volunteers for the Opening Ceremony on May 31st, Pride Prom on June 13th and the Pride Fair on June 20th.
Apply to become one of our proud volunteers! We have volunteer opportunities throughout the year to get involved with Pride. Volunteers must be age 15 or older.
Wood Buffalo Pride members receive discounts on our events, are the first to hear about announcements and opportunities through our newsletter, and can make their voice heard in shaping our organization at our Annual General Meeting! Members are automatically added to our mailing list to receive our newsletter. Membership expires annually on December 31st.
To ensure we are meeting the needs of our local 2SLGBTQIA+ community, we are creating Advisory Groups. The Advisory Groups will meet approximately twice per year and will help to shape our programming with their feedback.
These groups are open to those that self-identify as 2SLGBTQIA+, as well as their family members, parents, caregivers, or direct supports. An honorarium is provided for participation.
