Boreal Therapy Collective is a mental health practice founded on the principles of social justice, inclusivity, and kindness. SOS is a Fort McMurray resource for suicide prevention. They operate a 24/7, anonymous, confidential, non-judgmental crisis line. They also offer free virtual mentoring, general counselling and grief and loss counselling. SOS has a Child & Youth Team of mentors who provide mental health support in schools, and offer free content through their social media pages, blogs, podcast, and YouTube channel.

GLO, presented by It Gets Better Canada (IGBC) is a new app focused on enhancing mental health, combating online hate, and improving digital literacy for 2SLGBTQI+ youth. The app uses a gamified approach to allow youth to explore topics around stress management, navigating cyber-bulling, digital safety, and personal empowerment. GLO is available to download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
CQCC has partnered with Our Landing Place to launch a mental health initiative for 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs and business owners. Participants can access fully funded mental health group workshops as well as one-on-one mental health support. Individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and are entrepreneurs aged 19+ who currently live in Canada can access up to 8 free therapy sessions to be used within a 3-month period.
CBRC has developed a number of initiatives focused on improving 2SLGBTQ+ people’s mental health. Their resources include 2S/LGBTQ+ Mental Health Data and Primers on topics such as: Coping with Minority Stress; Barriers in Mental Health Care; We’re Stronger Together; and Marginalization and Mental Health.
