Wood Buffalo Pride’s Qmmunity Connections program is a series of varying drop in programs, workshops, and events that aim to increase connection and wellbeing of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. By creating safe and inclusive spaces to gather, we give members of the queer community places to connect with like minded individuals and participate in activities that improve quality of life and increase a sense of belonging.

Every third Wednesday of the month, the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre Aerobics Studio will host a dedicated 2SLGBTQIA+ Space from 5-7pm.
This initiative was developed as a collaboration to create a fitness environment centered on comfort, privacy, and respect. During this time, the space is reserved exclusively for those who self-identify within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and allies.
We are committed to building spaces where all individuals can focus on their wellbeing without fear of judgment. Registration is required, photography is not permitted, and gender-inclusive change rooms will be available for participants to use.
Register for the Fitness Drop-In on the SSWC Activity website here.
