Resources created by Egale Canada to increase understanding of affirming faith from a 2SLGBTQI+ context. These Affirming Faith Workbooks aims to provide readers with foundational knowledge on Canada’s major faith groups, considerations for supporting 2SLGBTQI people of faith, and strategies for creating respectful and tolerant workplaces and community spaces. Affirming Connections seeks to support and enhance the positive voices of people of faith, ministries, and organizations who work to eliminate religious discrimination and to provide spaces of belonging for people to explore their spirituality without any fear of exclusion. Primarily focused in Alberta, British Columbia, and elsewhere when possible.
The Human Rights Campaign has created a resource library of a wide variety topics to explore specific areas of Religion & Faith communities. Find support articles and guides for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members to connect to their faith or religion, and find affirming spaces.
Queer Muslim Network (QMN) is a grassroots organization dedicated to community building and uplifting 2SLGBTQ+ Muslims and their allies. Based in Toronto, Montreal, & Ottawa, QMN provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals who identify as both queer and Muslim, across all sects.
A volunteer-run national organization dedicated to creating space for people who identify as both Muslim and queer and trans. They offer supports and programs for those in the queer/trans Muslim community, and advocate for social justice for members of this community.

Keshet envisions a world in which all LGBTQ+ Jews and our families can live with full equality, justice, and dignity. Keshet works for the full equality of all LGBTQ+ Jews and our families in Jewish life. We strengthen Jewish communities. We equip Jewish organizations with the skills and knowledge to build LGBTQ+-affirming communities; create spaces in which all queer Jewish youth feel seen and valued; and advance LGBTQ+ rights nationwide. *Based in the U.S., but their website offers educational and community support resources.
Affirm United/ S’affirmer Ensemble works for the full inclusion of people of all gender identities and sexual orientations in the United Church of Canada and in society. We’re a voice and a support for people of all sexualities and gender identities and expressions, and we help ministries become truly welcoming safer sacred spaces through our Affirming ministries program.
Q Christian Fellowship cultivates radical belonging among LGBTQ+ people and allies through a commitment to growth, community, and relational justice. We are a diverse community with varied backgrounds, cultures, theologies and denominations, drawn together through our love of Christ and our belief that every person is a beloved child of God.
Queer Grace is a curated encyclopedia of information and ideas around the life of LGBTQIA+ people and Christian faith. We hope to offer a safe space full of resources for all those navigating their journey in the church.
