AWARENESS - EQUITY - SUPPORT

Wood Buffalo Pride’s inclusivity trainings were created to provide awareness and education for individuals, organizations, and businesses seeking to become more informed and inclusive allies. Our trainings provide information about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, share best practices for inclusivity and accessibility, and empower allies with both empathy and strategies for concrete actions in allyship.

Content can be tailored for nonprofit organizations, businesses, professional fields, and more, depending on your needs. Our trainings can be delivered in person or virtually. Time for discussion and Q&A is built into all of our trainings.

Please note that we do not schedule private inclusivity trainings between May 13 - June 30, as our staff is busy with Pride Month (June 1-30). We appreciate your understanding.

OUR OFFERINGS

Micro-Training or Webinar

$200

1 hour training or virtual webinar - perfect for lunch and learn sessions!

Our micro-trainings and webinars explore specific topics related to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, inclusivity and allyship. They are structured so that they can be taken individually, or as an ongoing learning series that builds on a wide range of knowledge and skills.

2-Hour Introductory Inclusivity Training

$300

Our 2-Hour Introductory 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusivity Training covers the basics of 2SLGBTQIA+ identity, allyship, and local resources available for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

4-Hour Inclusivity Training

$500

Our comprehensive 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusivity Training covers many topics related to 2SLGBTQIA+ lived experiences, inclusive best practices, and allyship in greater depth. It includes videos, interactive activities, and increased time for reflection, discussion, and capacity-building for participants and organizations.

Travel Costs

$0.73/km

In person trainings outside of the city of Fort McMurray will be charged mileage costs.
